Zakopane is undoubtedly the Polish capital of winter sports and mountain tourism, offering great possibilities for leisure pursuits in both winter and summer, it is also a capitol of Polish Highland culture. Zakopane is located in the south of Poland about 110 km south of Krakow. The mountain traditions cultivated here can be seen in the folk costumes, the unique wooden architecture of the houses and the stained glass windows. The wild beauty of the country around Zakopane, the clear mountain streams, the immense forests and most of all the breathtaking landscapes of the Tatras mountains are worth making an effort to see. Zakopane is the largest ski resort and mountain tourist location in Poland. There is a winter sports center at the most famous and popular peak for skiers and snowboarders - Kasprowy Wierch. On top there are not just downhill but also beautiful panoramas of the Tatras mountains. Skiers can also make use a few different levels of difficulty ski slopes at Nosal, Glade Szymaszkowa, Harenda, Goryczkowa and Gubałówka. Our program tour to see Zakopane is set while driving. Zakopane is a capital of Polish mountains and it is 110 km away from Krakow. An average time for transfer from Krakow to the mountains is about two hours. Our driver will take you from the Krakow airport, hotel or apartment in Krakow and will bring you to the journey’s final stop in Zakopane in any place your want. There is also a possibility to organize a transfer from Zakopane to Krakow airport, Katowice or to the city centre. We also organize skiing or snowboarding events. Some of the most famous and highly valued ski slops in Zakopane are Nosal, Szymoszkowa, Kasprowy Wierch, Bukowina Tatrzańska and Białka Tatrzańska slops.
